​Reaching the Congress Venue 

The Bella Center is 6 kilometers from Copenhagen Airport (a 10 minute drive) ​​and ​​8 kilometers from the city center. ​​ The easiest way to reach the Bella Center from the airport is to take a taxi. You can also use the Bella Center aiport shuttle which operates from 6am to 11pm and runs between the airport and the AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen Hotel (which is directly connected to Bella Center Copenhagen) and the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers Hotel.​ ​If you plan to arrive by car parking is available at the price of DKK 20 per hour. The weather in Copenhagen​ in September is mild and can reach 18 °C (64.4 °F). Do expect some rain so come equipped accordingly. ​​


The official language of the Congress is English. All abstract submissions should be in English. 


Some participants may require a visa in order to enter Denmark. Please check with your local consulate if a visa is required and about the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. Official Letter of Invitation

Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or Congress to provide any financial assistance. For an invitation letter, please send your request via the Contact Us page​ on this website. Please make sure to send us your full name (as printed in your passport), full postal address and passport number. An official invitation letter will be created and sent to you by e-mail within 5-7 working days.​

​Liability and Insurance

The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or indirectly arising from the 42nd World Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress. Participants are advised to take out their own personal health and travel insurance for their trip.

Guest Attendance Policy 

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibition hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided​ at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
